View from the Shotgun Seat

VIEW FROM from the passanger-seat of my childhood — or so it seems. It all comes rushing back in certain ways, doesn’t it?

I’m attempting to work on a piece about memory and place for my class/students (writing with them) and trying to sort out what actually kicks in when I’m feeling my deepest connection with Los Angeles. It will most likely have something to do with light but I could be mistaken…pondering.
