New Orleans musician Danny Barker drops some wisdom and then some science. I was enthralled with the tribute to him on Treme on Sunday. My LP with him doing “St. James Infirmary Blues: — complete with sidenotes — is still tucked away in moving boxes…but I found this along the way and it is beautiful and his essence.
