Ghost Walls

CONTRARY TO popular belief not everything gets torn down here in Los Angeles.

I’ve been really enjoying the excavation going on around town — businesses moving into spots and uncovering remnants of what had been there. Now, rather than covering them over in an attempt to “beautify” they are letting remnants of the past, old spaces linger — an homage to history. I’ll be posting a few of these as I come upon them.

This one, which hasn’t been newly revealed, but hidden in an alley is particularly beautiful though:
